There is a gnawing concern among some doctors and researchers that certain prescription generic drugs may not work as well as their brand-name counterparts.

Extremely interesting article about the different between “generic” and “brand” drugs.  Salient point is that generics do not necessarily have the “exact” same quantity of the particular compound found in the “brand” version, and it may not be released in exactly the same manner.  This may make a difference for some of the medications I commonly prescribe, but this is even more of an issue for cardiac medication and anti-epileptic drugs.
